Mick Bettesworth, in his capacity as Chairman of the Global Marina Institute, presented 5 candidates from Turkey, the Middle East and Portugal with their Certified Marina Management Certificates at the recent ICOMIA World Marinas Conference held from the 2-4th of June in Istanbul.
This brings the world wide total number of CMMs to over 315.
The CMM qualification is the highest marina related qualification available in the world today and can only be gained after successfully completing the GMI’s Advanced Marina Management School.
Mick also moderated the upbeat opening session at the conference which was entitled ‘Investigating the State of the Global Marina Industry’ and was a speaker on ‘Marina Valuation – Pricing your Marina’ and ‘Marina Industry Education and Training’.
